Grant to Train Community Volunteers

DENVER, Colo. - The University of Colorado School of Medicine recently received $266,000 in grant funding from the Colorado Health Foundation to develop and implement an Advance Care Planning (ACP) Volunteer Training and Certificate Program titled, “Colorado ACP Certification.”

The two-year program will launch early 2017, engaging the community and certifying volunteers. A key component of this program is to focus on quality communication in addition to proper use of documents.
