Dr. Villalon completed her residency in Internal Medicine in 2007 at the University of Colorado Denver and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. She is currently a Geriatric Research Instructor and is interested in strategies to optimize bone health in older adults. Specifically, she has been working with Drs. Kohrt and Gozansky to evaluate the impact of weight loss and weight regain on bone mineral density in postmenopausal women using a new imaging technique called quantitative computed tomography (QCT).
