Ms. Quick received her nursing degree from the University of Colorado in 1973. After working in Denver, Ms. Quick returned to school at Metropolitan State College in Denver for her Adult Nurse Practitioner training. During the 1970's and 1980's Ms. Quick continued to work as a nurse in both medical and psychiatric settings. In 1990 she enrolled in the University of Denver and earned a Master's degree in Health Care with an emphasis on managed care. Ms. Quick joined the IMAGE research group in 2003 due to her interest in the aging process and exercise interventions to promote functional independence.
