Dr. Jankowski received her Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Texas Woman's University in 1996, followed by the position of assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology. She arrived at the University of Colorado Denver and Health Sciences Center in 1999 where she began work as a fellow in the Division of Geriatric Medicine with the IMAGE Group. Now an Assistant Research Professor in Geriatric Medicine, she conducts research in the biology of aging muscle and exercise interventions to enhance the quality of life for older adults.
