The Department of Medicine will host a celebration of Dr. Robert Schrier’s career. While serving as the Chair of the Department of Medicine from 1976 to 2002, Dr. Schrier has contributed enormously to academic medicine and biomedical research. He has recently retired from the University and been named a Professor Emeritus for his outstanding successes as a physician, scientist, mentor, professor, and chair.
On Friday, October 26, 2012, DOM will host a day of research in recognition of the extraordinary work and achievements of Dr. Robert Schrier. During the day, selected scholars mentored by Dr. Schrier from across the United States have been invited to present their work and discoveries.
The recognition ceremony will be held in the brand-new Vincent Fulginiti Pavilion for Bioethics and Humanities here on the Anschutz Medical Campus.
