
Manolo D’Arcangelo is an Italian
oncologist. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pisa in
2007. During the last two years of university studies, he co-worked in
Pharmacology laboratories of the University of Pisa. Here his works were focused
on angiogenesis and the effect of anti-angiogenic treatments in hormone
resistant prostate cancer patients. He completed his degree in Medical Oncology
at the University of Pisa in April 2012. Since January 2009 he carried out
clinical activity for the Oncology Department of the Civil Hospital of Livorno,
being actively involved in lung cancer treatment. His principal interest is translational
research on lung cancer and cancer stem cells. He is member of Italian
Association in Medical Oncology (AIOM) and of European Society for Medical
Oncology (ESMO).
