Dr. Thomas B. Campbell, director of the Colorado HIV Research Training Program within the Division of Infectious Diseases, has been awarded the honor of "Excellence in Global Health, 2013". During the 2013 Global Health Symposium, Dr. Campbell was recognized for his developments within both the United States and Zimbabwe. Tom Campbell's contributions include setting up clinical trials in Zimbabwe and raising money for vital drugs.
