In collaboration with Fresenius Biotech North America, Inc., the Population-based Palliative Care Research Network is performing A Study to Validate the Content of the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy - Ascites Index (FACIT-AI) in Patients with Recurrent Symptomatic Malignant Ascites due to Ovarian Cancer.PoPCRN hospices are participating in this study, enrolling up to 20 patients.

This study will first allow patients to assess their own symptoms and list their primary concerns of their disease. Patients will then evaluate and provide comments about the FACIT-AI.
