Jessica Campbell is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at University of Colorado Denver and Hospitalist at Denver Health Hospital. Dr Campbell's research on physician burnout has lead to innovative approaches for engaging trainees and faculty in activities that promote professional and humanistic development such as the Rick Albert Prize and the Hergott Heart of Medicine. She has taught over 60 mindfulness and wellness based seminars in many different healthcare settings and been recognized for her commitment to inspiring the next generation of doctors with numerous teaching awards. Dr Campbell is passionate about using narrative to connect physicians with the heart of medicine. She plans to begin writing her first book "From Dr Heal Thyself to Dr Healthy Self" this year and looks forward to the feedback and support of colleagues and mentors in the HOM writers circles.
