Current Bioarchiving Facility Projects

v  Enhancement of CD4+ T cell function by blockade of the PD-1 pathway (2008-2014) 2500 vials of plasma and 2500 vials of HIV+/- PBMC.

v  University of Colorado Cancer Center Hematologic Malignancies/Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Tissue Protocol (2011-Present).  3000 vials of plasma, serum and buccal swabs, 2500 vials of PBMC.

v  Lung HIV Microbiome Project (2009-2015). 200 vials bronchial lavage cells (BAL), 100 vials oral wash, 350 vials of stool, 1200 vials of plasma and 1200 vials of PBMC.

v  Immunosuppressive Effects of Smoking and HIV-1 on the development of Lung Disease (2013-Present).  1260 vials of plasma, 1260 vials of PBMC, 210 vials of BAL, and 350 vials of stool HIV+/-.

v  T-cell distribution and function in children with cyanotic congenital heart disease (2014) 40 vials of plasma, 40 vials of PBMC, 60 vials of thymocytes, 30 vials of snap-frozen thymus tissue.

v  Factors mediating gut microbiota dysbiosis and metabolic disease in HIV patients (2014-Present).  918 vials of plasma, 918 vials of PBMC, 250 vials of stool.

v  Diet/Gut microbiome interaction and influence of inflammatory disease in HIV patients (2015-Present) 588 vials of plasma, 588 vials of PBMC, 150 vials of stool, 270 vials of gut biopsy tissues.

v  Analysis of prognostic cell signaling factors in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (2007-Present).  3000 vials of plasma and 3000 vials of PBMC.
