Application Process

Applications should include the following information:

Applications are accepted only through the Graduate School's on-line application

Two (2) official transcripts of all academic work completed to date. To be considered official, the transcripts must come from the issuing institution directly to the Immunology Graduate Program.

Three letters of recommendation (3) from individuals such as college professors, who are familiar with your academic and/or laboratory achievements. Such letters should be sent directly to the Graduate Program from the individual providing the reference via the on-line application.

Documentation of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE): The GRE code number for the University of Colorado Denver is 4875. The GRE testing service can also be accessed on-line at . In order for the scores to be available in December, students should take the exam no later than November. Students are not required to take a GRE subject test. It is highly unlikely that students will be interviewed unless they have taken the GRE.

Students whose native language is not English or who have completed their studies at an institution where English was not the language of instruction, must demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting scores of the Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or its equivalent. The student should attain a score of at least 550. The code for the institution is also 4877.

There is a $50 application fee for domestic applicants and a $75 application fee for international applicants.  Both are non-refundable.

DEADLINE: EARLY deadline is December 1 and final deadline is Jan. 1 for all materials to be received.. Applications received after Jan. 1st may not be considered.  Following the receipt of completed material, successful applicants are invited for interviews in either late January or February.
