FM Elective Away (Family Medicine Rotations in Denver, Colorado, & U.S.)

Time Requirements: 2-16 weeks

Course Requirements for Electives in Private Offices:
Prior approval is needed for rotations in private Family Physicians practices. Students will provide personal learning objectives with the Course Director prior to beginning their elective.

Electives at Family Medicine Residency Programs:
All Family Medicine Residency programs are available for electives and many can provide an experience that will qualify for your Year IV Sub-Internship requirement.

Also, all Colorado residency programs have a rotation that can qualify as your Sub-I. Both Sub-I and elective applications must be through the individual residency program.
