Mentored Scholarly Activity (MSA) Program

Overview

The Department of Family Medicine Mentored Scholarly Activity Program was developed to introduce medical students to research in primary care.

Research in primary care often involves researching:

    1. How healthcare is rendered
    2. Improving quality of care and outcomes in primary care

We offer support for your MSA needs and SOM Requirements. We will match you with a FM Faculty Mentor having similar research interests to work on a scholarly project.

If you are unsure of the area you would like to study, we will work with you to find a mentor and project.

Please go to FMStudentEd.org to view more information about our FM MSA program.
