  • Applications in Biomedical and Biotechnology areas of natural history and mechanisms of carcinogenesis including inflammation, oxidative stress, genetics; proteomics applications in cancer biomarkers; disease progression by image and texture analyses; nano biotechnologies for imaging, diagnosis and therapeutics; 3D TRUS guided needle biopsy protocols; optical spectroscopy for disease diagnosis and prognosis of prostate cancer; etiology and progression of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Computer architecture and parallel processing, Digital signal and image processing, Real-time computer control systems, embedded computing systems, Microprocessor-based system designs, Computer Networks, Simulations and statistical modeling.
