The UC Denver T32 Institutional Training in Otolaryngology Research Grant allows us to accept applications for training slots for both pre-doctoral (medical or PhD candidates) and post-doctoral fellows. Research projects must be related to areas of otolaryngology, including hearing/balance, taste/smell, communication/autism, or head and neck cancer. Each project should have a basic science research mentor and a clinical co-mentor selected from the training faculty of the Otolaryngology T32. The research mentor supervises the research in a laboratory environment and the clinical mentor provides a clinical experience (such as shadowing in a clinical setting or participation in a clinical research study) related to the selected project. Minority applicants are encouraged to apply, but all applicants must be US citizens or have a green card.
