CU Orthopedics is pleased to welcome Haotian Wu, MD, and Chenhao Dou, MD, as our 2015 visiting scholars from the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University in China. They are participating in the Exchange Visitor Program, which promotes international educational and cultural exchange to develop mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries.
Dr. Wu has focused on orthopedic trauma for 10 years. He'll be working with Dr. Jason Stoneback, shadowing in clinics and the OR while collaborating on trauma research. He's currently conducting pelvic fracture research and a study on femoral fractures treated with plate screw constructs.
Dr. Dou is finishing his orthopedic surgery residency. He will be working with our adult reconstruction providers, shadowing Dr. Craig Hogan in the OR and on morning rounds. He's collaborating on research projects as well, including studies on hip dislocation after total hip replacement.
