The Department of Orthopedics is excited to announce the Inaugural Orthopedic Research Symposium and D'Ambrosia Diversity Lectureship. 

In addition to scientific and poster sessions and the presentation of trainee awards, we are honored to welcome Dr. E. Anthony Rankin as the D'Ambrosia Diversity Keynote Lecturer. Dr. Rankin is a former President of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an internationally renowned advocate for diversity in Orthopedics.  He has trained more than 120 minority and female residents as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Providence Hospital and as Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Howard University College of Medicine.
