AURORA, Colorado – September 1, 2012 - The University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedics is pleased to announce the arrival of J. Thaddeus Leaseburg, MD to its Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle faculty as of September 1, 2012. Dr. Leaseburg graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, and completed his residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Medicine. Dr. Leaseburg then went on to become a Postdoctoral Clinical Fellow specializing in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Leaseburg has over a decade of experience in the areas of adult foot and ankle reconstruction, deformity correction, fractures, instability, diabetic collapse, arthritis, work related injuries, tendon ruptures and tears, and foot and ankle related sports injuries.
Dr. Leaseburg will direct the Foot and Ankle division within the Department of Orthopaedics, whose mission is to provide superior, comprehensive foot and ankle treatment for patients in a clinical atmosphere that is caring and responsive to current and long- term patient needs. We specialize in traditional and innovative conservative and surgical services of the ankle, foot, and toes and will have clinics at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, as well as at a brand new clinic located in Lone Tree.
