Burger named to "10 Female Spine Surgeons to Know" list Becker's Orthopedic, Spine & Pain Management Evalina Burger, MD, has been named to the Becker's Orthopedic, Spine & Pain Management list of "10 Female Spine Surgeons to Know." Dr. Burger currently serves as an associate professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and vice chair at The Spine Center of University of Colorado Hospital. In addition to her clinical practice, she is affiliated with the Scoliosis Research Society, North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Hartman, Kjoelhamar will ski for Buffs in 2012 CUBuffs.com After tearing both her ACL and MCL at the World University Games on February 1, 2011, in Turkey, CU ski team member Katie Hartman underwent a successful repair surgery by CU Sports Medicine Chief Eric McCarty, MD. Having received approval for a medical hardship waiver, Hartman will return to the slopes in 2011-12 for the Buffs. |

Department Chair Dr. Robert D'Ambrosia selected as AAOS Mentor AAOS (American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons) Department of Orthopaedics Chair Dr. Robert D'Ambrosia has been selected as a mentor for the 2011-12 AAOS (American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons) Leadership Fellows Program (LFP).
