Referrals

As neurosurgeons, we share your goal of providing the best possible care for patients with neurosurgical diseases. We also strive to integrate training, research, and the development of novel technology with clinical care. In some cases, referring physicians seek a secondary consultation to confirm an opinion, to request more extensive diagnostic evaluations than may be available locally, or to have patients receive specialized treatment that they may be unable to provide. Please feel free to contact our faculty. Our search engine can help you quickly locate a CU Neurosurgery specialist particularly interested in your patient's problem.  Referring physicians are welcome to participate in our Department's educational activities listed under Events or Conference. Throughout and after their treatment by CU Neurosurgery, we encourage patients to maintain close contact with their primary care and referring physicians.  We pledge to provide communication with all referring physicians to keep you up to date on your patient's treatment.
