The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Colorado, continues the tradition of excellence outlined in our Mission Statement.

Guest Speaker for Neurosurgery in the Rockies, Professor Helmut Bertalanffy, presented at the Posterior Fossa and Cranio-Cervical Junction Anatomy course for the University of Colorado and guest residents.  The group spent a day exploring approaches to this area and learning from Prof. Bertalanffy's expertise.  Residents from across the country as well as residents from University of Colorado Neurosurgery residency took part in this all day course.  

Neurosurgery residents had the opportunity to use state-of-the-art equipment to perform posterior fossa approaches.
