Advanced Light Microscopy Core

The Advanced Light Microscopy Core has several advanced light microscopes capable of many different and extremely useful technologies.

 


 Animal Model Core

The Animal Model Core will help you plan and perform your animal experiment, providing access to transgenic mice as well as live, whole-animal imaging.

 


Biostatistics & Bioinformatics Core

The Biostatistics & Bioinformatics Core exists to help researchers plan experiments of both low and high complexity and both small and large data-sets and then analyze data using appropriate statistical methodologies.

 


Biophysics Core

The Biophysics Core offers several different technologies to investigate and characterize your molecular interaction of interest including, but not limited to: Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), Analytical Ultracentrifugation, Circular Dichroism (CD), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC), Fluorescence Spectroscopy, and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).

 


DNA Sequencing & DNA Analysis Core

The DNA Sequencing & DNA Analysis Core sequences DNA sequences using the Sanger method and can work from PCR product, plasmid or genomic DNA preps.

 


Electron Microscopy Core

The Electron Microscopy Core can help you obtain extremely high resolution micrographs of your research subject.

 


Flow Cytometry Core

The Flow Cytometry Core can help asses large, diverse, populations of cells and can sort them on a number of variables.

 


Genomics & Microarray Core

The Genomics & Microarray Core has access to several high-throughput, Next-Generation Sequencing Platforms and can provide library preparation as well as sequencing services.

 


High-Throughput Sequencing Core (HTSC)

The HTSC offers Next-Generation Sequencing on the Illumina Genome Analyzer II (GAII), the Illumina MiSeq or a Roche 454 platform.



Histopathology Core

The Histopathology Core can help you asses your animal model for disease markers and immune system activation

 


Mass Spectrometry Core

The Mass Spectrometry Core can help you characterize the molecular weights and, potentially, the identities of components of complex mixtures.

 


Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Core

The NMR core can help you characterize the atomic structure of individual molecules or simple mixtures of certain individual molecules

 


Peptide & Protein Chemistry Core

The Peptide and Protein Chemistry Core can prepare synthetic peptides and purify as well as characterize peptides or proteins
