The Department of Immunology and Microbiology of the University of Colorado School of Medicine is pleased to announce the 19th Annual Colorado Immunology Conference, being held at the Steamboat Grand in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, August 28 - 30, 2019.  We are inviting you to attend and exhibit at this year’s event.

This conference is held at one of several locations in the Rocky Mountains and brings together more than 200 scientists from multiple regional institutions for the purpose of education and exchange of ideas in the fields of immunology and cancer research.  The Colorado Immunology Conference has fostered the development of thriving inter-institutional programs in cancer immunology, diabetes, autoimmunity, respiratory immunology, microbiology, and inflammation. 

The Colorado Immunology Conference is organized to promote optimal formal and informal interactions on current research and educational topics.  Each year, an outside keynote speaker is included and presents a named lecture commemorating Dr. Pixie Campbell.  Dr. Campbell was an immunologist who served on the faculty and as Immunology Program Director at National Jewish Health.  She died prematurely of cancer. In memory of Dr. Campbell, our keynote speaker is always a leading female immunologist.  Keynote speakers are internationally known figures whose presentations are meant to communicate cutting edge research and provoke discussion.  Speakers also provide role models for developing women scientists and educators.  This year’s keynote speaker is Philippa Marrack, PhD.  We are very excited to have her join us this year.  

The conference includes 2 poster/vendor sessions.  These sessions are well attended by nearly all registrants.  The sessions are geared towards graduate students and postdoctoral research fellows.  It provides these trainees valuable educational and professional experience to help prepare them for academic and corporate careers.  They are strongly encouraged to present at these sessions.  Tables for vendors are located in the poster session space to encourage registrants to speak with representatives. 

For those familiar to this meeting, there is a schedule change this year.  The first session is on Wednesday, August 28 following the keynote address.  The tentative time is 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM.  The second poster/vendor session will be BEFORE dinner on August 29, tentatively 5:00 PM – 7:00PM.  Posters and vendor tables will be set up through Friday morning, August 30.  

Exhibitor Benefits
The cost to attend the 2019 Colorado Immunology Conference is $850.  We guarantee a space for one representative from your company at our Poster/Vendor sessions this year.  If you would like to bring more than one representative to the conference, the cost will be an additional $200 per person.   We would love to have you at the event, and your support will be acknowledged on our conference website and on promotional materials at the conference.

We will provide you a 6 foot table in the poster vendor session space.  Your products and literature may be set up for the duration of the meeting, but expect little foot traffic outside of the two poster/vendor sessions. The poster/vendor sessions give you the opportunity to discuss your products directly with the lab members who place orders and their PI’s.  Your contribution includes the group breakfasts and dinners with us during the conference.  You may also attend the scientific sessions, provided you first sign a confidential disclosure agreement with the University of Colorado.  As one of our vendors you will learn valuable scientific information that can help you in your ongoing relationships with us, and it can educate us regarding your products and services.  

Our room rate at the Steamboat Grand starts at $135/night.  You will have the opportunity to book at this special rate after registration begins.  This is a newly renovated property, formerly known as the Vail Cascade!
