Dr. Jobin first joined the faculty of the Department of Emergency Medicine in 2005 as a Clinical Instructor and then in 2010 became an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine in the School of Medicine and Associate Director of Emergency Services at University Hospital. Prior to joining the University of Colorado, he practiced Emergency Medicine for 33 years, serving as an attending Emergency Physician at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado, and was the founding physician of Big Thompson Emergency Physicians at McKee. His positions at McKee Medical Center included Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Chief of Staff, and he served on the Credentials Committee, Quality Assurance Committee, and Critical Care Committees. He currently is the Physician Advisor for Thompson Valley EMS, Loveland Fire and Rescue, and Berthoud Fire.
Dr. Jobin is also a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and has served on the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners from 2006 to 2008. As Associate Director of Emergency Services at University Hospital, he is dedicated to improving patient safety and quality of care. He is currently serving as the Faculty Director for the Allied Health Providers in the Emergency Department.
