Biosketch
Dr. Anderson joined the faculty in 2007 after completing her residency and serving as Chief Resident at Northwestern Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Anderson’s interests are primarily in medical education. She is currently an Associate Program Director for the Denver Health Residency in Emergency Medicine where she plans the residency didactic curriculum as well as the educational advances for the residency. She also serves as the director of the Advanced Education Committee. Dr. Anderson is also the Director of Simulation for Emergency Medicine and is active in creating and facilitating simulation scenarios in emergency medicine at the University of Colorado for the residents and medical students alike. Dr. Anderson is also actively involved in the medical school where she serves as Associate Director for Preceptorships for the Foundations of Doctoring Curriculum and is a member of the admissions committee there.
