The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Colorado Denver is committed to conducting high-quality clinical and translational research in the areas of perioperative medicine and critical care. This website is the departmental portal for faculty, staff, and trainees interested in pursuing clinical and translational projects.
Investigators in the early stages of project planning are encouraged to schedule a meeting with Dr. Richard Ing and Sabrina Espinoza. This meeting will give investigator the opportunity to share their research rationale and identify areas of need including mentorship, funding, nursing resources, statistical support, sample collection and storage, and familiarization with the Colorado Multiple Institutional Review Board (COMIRB) approval. Dr. Ing is available to meet during his office hours or by appointment.
Our group of highly skilled clinical research nurses offer support at all levels of trial planning to execution. Investigators with questions/concerns about ongoing projects are invited to meet with Dr. Richard Ing and Sabrina Espinoza.
