Residency Training: CA-3

The CA-3 year rotations will strengthn and refine the resident's skills while preparing them for fellowship or clinical practice. The resident will complete their required concentrated exposure to all anesthetic subspecialties, (e.g. pain management, cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, obstetric, and pediatric anesthesia) with consolidation of other anesthetic experiences. The CA-3 resident will become self-sufficient in the operating room, and will also develop presentation skills by contributing to the didactic activities of the department. Residents may also participate in research.
