Residency Curriculum - CA-1
During the CA-1 year the resident learns evaluation and management of patients undergoing gynecologic, general surgical, urologic, orthopedic, otolaryngologic, and a wide variety of other procedures. The resident works at all times under faculty supervision. Residents spend time at University of Colorado Hospital, VA Medical Center and Denver Health Medical Center. Intensive introductory didactic sessions and close faculty supervision are part of the residents' first month of training.
