In addition to conducting cancer clinical trials at all of the University of Colorado Cancer Center affiliated institutions, we have extended clinical care and clinical research for cancer patients to a number of sites around the state of Colorado and the region through our Community Engagement Program.
Full-time CU Cancer Center oncology faculty travel to Shaw Cancer Center, San Juan Regional Cancer Center, Valley View Hospital, San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center and St. Mary's Cancer Center and provide care for patients there, as well as offer clinical trials to eligible patients.
Cooperative group studies are the majority of studies offered at our Community Engagement Program sites, but selected industry and investigator-initiated studies may be offered as well.
