The administrative team is responsible for all administrative aspects of the University of Colorado Cancer Center including membership, financial oversight, communication, special events, seminars series and cultivation of institutional relationships.
The development and cultivation of key institutional relationships is a principal charge of the administration. We work very closely with the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute in a variety of collaborative and complementary projects such as organizing our shared resources to compliment each of our entities strengths.
The coordination and facilitation of our consortium activities represents a critical administration responsibility that goes to the very essence of our Cancer Center identity and structure. Administration is responsible for assisting the senior associate director for translational and collaborative research in coordinating and staffing consortium meetings, assuring communication among the members, and addressing administrative management issues related to the development and implementation of collaborative research activities across the consortium.
Additionally, we support the educational programs of the CU Cancer Center, such as the Cancer Research Summer Fellowship, seminar series, special events and other community activities. We also produce cost studies, member surveys and business plans for our shared resources.
