The Research Informatics Advisory Committee - This group is composed of informatics stakeholders with the CU Cancer Center and RISR leadership. It meets semi-annually to assess RISR's near-term plans (six months to two years) in light of the broad range of informatics needs at the Cancer Center.
This committee is the first-line venue for prioritizing access to informatics resources across competing informatics needs. It also provides guidance and help in securing the resources and organizational cooperation needed to make RISR activities successful.

Domain-Specific Steering Committees
As necessary, RISR convenes steering committees comprised of leadership from specific cancer research domains, such as clinical trials management or pathology. These committees meet regularly to advise RISR on tactical decisions relating to prioritization of specific needs within these domains.
