Program Objective:

1) To learn how clinical cancer trials are conducted, 2) To learn about the approval process required for human subjects research to protect patient safety and insure strong rationale for each study, 3) To collect and analyze clinical data for selected cancers 

Program Description:

Cancer clinical studies are offered to cancer patients who need treatment, cancer survivors who benefit from counseling and support, to those at high risk for cancer, and to subjects making decisions about cancer management.  Control of treatment side effects is also being studied, as are translational projects which correlate basic biochemical properties of cancers from patients with their clinical information.
