Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnose major cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death in males.
Students working in Urologic Oncology will experience clinical operations, research and data analysis. Our summer student will be asked to analyze data and complete a paper or abstract on data collected through our prostate screening programs. This experience will provide a well-rounded experience in academic medicine. Students are expected to attend weekly tumor boards and other educational conferences to enhance their education and knowledge of urologic oncology illnesses.
