Cancer Resource Center

Cancer is an illness that places great demand on patients, family members and friends. We understand in learning to live with cancer that you may deal with physical, emotional, social and spiritual issues.

At the Monfort Family Foundation Cancer Resource Center (CRC) at the University of Colorado Hospital, everyone is welcome to visit to obtain cancer-related information and support.

The CRC is staffed by an American Cancer Society Patient Navigator who can assist with patient and family information needs and access to ACS programs. Please let us know how we can help you.

Information available:

  • A variety of topic brochures related to specific cancer types
  • Support groups and educational classes at our facility and in the local area
  • Support services available to you at our cancer center
  • Computers with Internet access
  • Lodging and transportation services near our facility
  • Information on our LIVESTRONG™ Cancer Survivorship Program
  • Audio/Visual materials to use during your treatment at the CU Cancer Center. Topics include: stress release, guided imagery, stories, spirituality and relation
  • Tours of the CU Cancer Center for new patients, caregivers and special "Lemonade Tours" for children of cancer patients
