For a variety of reasons, the health issues of women need focused inquiry now more than ever. Heart disease and diabetes among women are on the rise. Meanwhile, many research studies have lacked adequate female subjects to draw distinctions or conclusions about the unique impacts of diseases and treatments on women. Today, the women who suffer from heart disease, diabetes, and other health challenges need information.
At the Center for Women’s Health Research, we’re working to provide it. We are a nationally and internationally renowned Center where vital research is spearheaded, conducted, shared, and further investigated—all in order to close the gap in knowledge and improve women's longevity and well-being.
