Colorado Bioscience Park

The office of the Center for Women's Health Research is located at the Colorado Bioscience Park, the first university affiliated "biopark" to be developed west of the Mississippi. The Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority administers the research park, and is affiliated with the University of Colorado.

The Colorado Bioscience Park is adjacent to the University of Colorado and University of Colorado Hospital at the university's Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO.

With a planned build-out of four million square feet and a projected workforce of 4,000, the 160-acre Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora at Fitzsimons is evolving as the hub for the biotechnology industry in the Rocky Mountain West.

In 2003, Fitzsimons received the National Award for Excellence in Technology-Led Economic Development from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration.
