Webb-Waring Center

Webb-Waring has been tied historically to the Colorado research community for the better part of a century.  Originally founded by Dr. Gerald B. Webb and Dr. James J. Waring in 1924 as a free standing institute for the study of tuberculosis, Webb-Waring has a long-standing history of innovative medical research as well as teaching.

Recently, Webb-Waring relocated as a new center of research within the University of Colorado. The center's motivated staff and investigators strive to maintain the high standard of research excellence established by our founders.

Our scientists are conducting important medical research in Type 1 Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis , Breast Cancer, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease), Arthritis, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Age-Related Macular Degneration and other common diseases.

Please review our individual laboratories and their related research activities.
