Amanda McGuigan is the Education Coordinator for the Center for Bioethics and Humanities.  She has been employed by the University since 2008.  Her role in the Center includes recruiting and coordinating facilitators for the Humanities, Ethical and Professionalism (HEP) thread. She assists in planning and coordinating curricula and performs education-related administrative support for 3rd and 4th year medical student sessions.  Amanda supports and coordinates the current educational programming, including serving as a liaison between the School of Medicine, graduate school and the Center. 

Apart from the Center, Amanda is a certified kid, teen and adult yoga teacher and is an avid practitioner of yoga.  She enjoys the outdoors with her 14 year old German Short-Haired Pointer and especially loves to camp, fish and hike.  ​

Education:
  • University of Colorado at Boulder, dual B.A in Spanish Language and Literature and Sociology
    with an emphasis on Criminology.
