Nov. 12, 2015 - The Colorado Springs Business Journal reports Erik Wallace, associate dean for the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Colorado Springs branch, and five first-year medical students supported Urban Peak’s Night Out to End Youth Homelessness Nov. 12.
The group slept outside overnight to raise awareness about youth homelessness and to raise money for Urban Peak’s shelter program.
The night out continues efforts of the branch and its medical students to engage with community organizations and to empathize with those who have limited resources. Student participants are Katie Raskob, Rima Baliga, Carl Dernell, Kristen Stahl, Jacob Fox, and Chris Richey. Learn more →
