​The majority of training an administrator is required to take is available online through the UCD Access Portal. A record of courses you have completed will be listed along with the date of completion. You will need to provide this information in order to obtain access to the various University business applications.

What to do in your first 30 days

  • HR New Employee Orientation - Mandatory for all permanent University employees. 
  • Badge Access - Anyone who appointed as a Signature Authority needs to be appointed by the department head/chair/equivalent and must be above the level of an administrative assistant. Once the Security Badging Office receives that email we will send the training information to that person being appointed.
