Administrative Toolbox

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) has honored the University of Colorado School of Medicine with an Accreditation with Commendation. Our term expires July 31, 2015. ACCME accreditation seeks to assure both physicians and the public that continuing medical education activities provided by the school meet the high standards of the Essential Areas, Elements and Policies for Accreditation as specified by the ACCME.

The school and its affiliated hospitals provide Graduate Medical Education training in 81 ACGME accredited resident and fellowship programs and 65 fellowship programs holding other accreditations or where accreditation is not available. "Residents" includes all interns, residents and fellows in GME training programs.

The School of Medicine MD program is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). We are fully accredited through 2016-2017.

The Physical Therapy Program is accredited through 2020 by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistants Inc. accredited our Child Health Associate - Physician Assistant Program through September 2014.
