CU Heroes Clinic

Giving Student Veterans a Reason to Smile

The CU Heroes Clinic serves the smiles of military veterans enrolled in a full time academic program at participating Colorado universities and colleges including the Aurora Community College, Community College of Denver, Emily Griffith Technical College, Metropolitan State University of Denver and all four campuses with the University of Colorado.

Established with the generous support of Delta Dental of Colorado, the CU Heroes Clinic provides a wide variety of preventative and comprehensive dental care including x-rays, cleanings, fillings, crowns, dentures, night guards, whitening trays, limited orthodontia and more – all free of charge. All services are provided by senior dental students under the supervision of highly-qualified faculty and staff, many of whom are veterans themselves.

Since opening in 2014, the CU Heroes Clinic has served hundreds of student veterans. Many student veterans do not qualify for or receive coverage for dental care when they leave military service. The CU Heroes Clinic addresses this gap by ensuring these students receive quality care at no cost, allowing them to focus on their education.
