The CU Heroes Clinic provides free dental care for military veterans enrolled in a degree program at the University of Colorado. Since opening in 2014, the CU Heroes Clinic has served hundreds of student veterans. Many student veterans do not qualify for or receive coverage for dental care when they leave military service. The Heroes Clinic addresses this gap by ensuring these students receive quality care at no cost, allowing them to focus on their education.
Established with the generous support of Delta Dental of Colorado, the CU Heroes Clinic provides a wide variety of dental care including x-rays, cleanings, fillings, crowns, night guards and whitening trays – all free of charge. All services are provided by senior dental students under the supervision of highly-qualified faculty and staff, many of whom are veterans themselves.

How do I qualify for free dental care through the CU Heroes Clinic?
You are eligible for free care if you are a U.S. veteran currently enrolled in a degree program at one of the four University of Colorado campuses: Anschutz Medical Campus, Boulder, Colorado Springs and Denver.
How will my veteran and student enrollment status be verified?
Is the Heroes Clinic open to all U.S. veterans?
Unfortunately no, the CU Heroes Clinic is only available for U.S. veteran students who are enrolled in a degree program at the University of Colorado. However, non-university veterans may seek dental care through the school's other fee-based clinics.
Veterans who are not a CU student are encouraged to connect with the VA.
