How to Apply Step-by-Step Guide

Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and interview invitations are extended on a rolling basis. It is strongly recommended for applicants to submit ALL application materials as early as possible to remain competitive, including the CAAPID application AND all supplemental application materials.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to allow enough time to complete all the application steps below. Due to the amount of time required for approval between each step, it is strongly recommended applicants submit the CAPPID application at least two weeks before the application deadline.

Once all items have been received, you will receive an email from CU Dental verifying your application is complete and will be considered for admission. Incomplete applications will not be considered after the deadline. We highly discourage applicants calling our office to find out the status of their application.

Please note that the applicant can view whether or not their CAAPID application is complete via the CAAPID portal. If your application in CAAPID is not complete, please contact CAAPID, do not call the University of Colorado. If the applicant has received a "pay fee" email from the University of Colorado, this means that your application has been deemed eligible. Once the "pay fee" email has been sent, you should wait 2 weeks before contacting the University if you have not heard from us after completing an admission step.  All other status update questions are discouraged.
