Senior Professional Research Assistant, American Indian/Alaska Native Program
Valerie has been a dental hygienist for 17 years and has worked in private practice, periodontal specialty practice, public health consulting, and academic teaching and research.
Valerie currently spends much of her time on oral health research projects at the University including as a clinical study coordinator in periodontal disease in Type I Diabetes, and as a Senior Professional Research Assistant in the Center for Native Oral Health Research for the American Indian and Alaska Native Programs.
