Beginning in the Fall 2013 semester Dr. Brenda J. Allen, Associate Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion, led an internal review of the school's institutional climate. Chancellor Don Elliman and Executive Vice Chancellor Lilly Marks provided the university resources to conduct the review.
