The Business School benefits from the guidance of five Advisory Councils focused on the emerging needs of our signature programs and other specialized practice areas, including global energy, sports and entertainment, and health administration. Members of these councils offer knowledge specific to their industries, benefiting our unique programs immensely.
Board and council members are a vital link to the broader business community and a source of innovative ideas about learning opportunities.
The Bard Center for Entrepreneurship houses the Business School's entrepreneurship courses, and issues entrepreneurship certificates with Business School graduate degrees. The Bard Center also is home to a new business incubator and gives Business Plan Competition awards each year. The advisory council for the Bard Center is active in supporting the full scope of Bard Center activities.
Center for Information Technology Innovation
The Center for Information Technology Innovation (CITI) is dedicated to helping the Information Systems discipline integrate with current business practices. Health Administration Advisory Council
The Health Administration advisory council supports the MS in Health Administration, the MBA in Health Administration and the Executive MBA in Health Administration programs.
Sports and Entertainment Management
The Sports and Entertainment Management specialization within the MBA or MS in Management degrees is supported by an advisory council of highly placed leaders in the field.
The newly developed Managing for Sustainability specialization within the MBA or MS in Management degrees is supported by an advisory council from the industry.
