Business Plan Competition Award Presentations and Luncheon

The Business Plan Competition is designed for
early stage Colorado companies that have received no Angel or Venture
funding and that have generated little or no revenue to date. The
primary purpose of the competition is to provide these early stage
ventures with an opportunity to test their ideas and receive meaningful
feedback on their business plans.
The finalists will present their plans
in front of a panel of judges and audience of business leaders and
fellow entrepreneurs from 8:00 until 11:00. Following the presentations an awards luncheon will be held where the awards for best business plans will be presented.
Steve Swoboda is the co-founder and COO of SpotXchange, an online video advertising marketplace. From startup in 2007 as the first online video advertising marketplace, SpotXchange has grown to become the largest global marketplace of video ad inventory, processing over four billion video ad decisions daily and delivering ads to 600+ million people in 190+ countries per month. Steve previously co-founded Booyah Online Advertising and held senior management positions at two startup companies, Ereo, Inc. and ProSavvy, Inc. He has also served as chief financial officer of iBelay LLC, a venture capital firm investing in seed stage companies, and was director of corporate development for the public company MessageMedia, Inc. Steve and SpotXchange co-founder Mike Shehan are 2013 recipients of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and SpotXchange is a Colorado Company to Watch.
