Business Plan Competition Award Presentations and Luncheon
Thursday, June 19, 2014
The Business Plan Competition is designed for
early stage Colorado companies that have received no Angel or Venture
funding and that have generated little or no revenue to date. The
primary purpose of the competition is to provide these early stage
ventures with an opportunity to test their ideas and receive meaningful
feedback on their business plans.
The finalists will present their plans
in front of a panel of judges and audience of business leaders and
fellow entrepreneurs from 8:30 until 11:30. Following the presentations an awards luncheon will be held where the awards for best business plans will be presented.
- 8:00 AM - 11:30 PM Finalists Present to Panel Judges (free)
- 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Luncheon and Awards Ceremony (paid reservation required)

The Appel Family
The Appel Family turned family recipes for household cleaners into international powerhouse brands such as OxiClean, Orange Glo, and Kaboom. They used infomercials in innovative ways, leveraged outsourcing before it was widespread, and made their category exciting for consumers.
Joel and his parents, Max and Elaine, will sit back and tell us about their journey of taking the Orange Glo Corporation from garage to global, and where they are now.
