Risky Global Business: World of Risk Management & Insurance

This will be a unique international course of intensive study, a distinctive three-week immersion in the field of Global Risk Management and Insurance. This course will begin with a series of lectures and presentations in Denver, followed by interactive lecture sessions in the worlds’ in​surance centers of London, Bermuda, and New York City. Each session is designed to provide insights into the fundamentals, operations, and value created by the Worldwide Insurance Market offering for sale vital financial products to businesses around the globe of all size and complexity.​

The course

The course objective is to educate and motivate students, whom one day either will own a business or manage the assets of a business, to better appreciate the risks attendant to the business and the process and techniques by which such risks can be eliminated, minimized, or traded in whole or in part in an efficient manner within the Global Market Place. At the course conclusion, students will be better equipped to understand the need to manage risk and the process by which threats posed by business risk are identified, quantified, and managed.​​
