The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration requires you to take a combination of business and liberal arts classes with provide you a well rounded education. In addition, you can major in programs like accounting, finance, financial management, human resources, information systems, international business, management and marketing. The Accounting Major provides you with the opportunity to enhance your analytical ability and communications skills relative to the accounting industry.

​Becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)


Until July 1, 2015, the state of Colorado will continue to license CPAs who have bachelor’s degrees and who meet the required education and experience requirements. New education and experience requirements take effect beginning July 1, 2015. These new requirements include 150-semester hours of higher education, including specific accounting and business courses, plus specific work experience.
