If you wish to transfer to the CU Denver Business School from another school or college in the University of Colorado Denver, you must formally apply to the CU Denver Business School.
- To apply for an intra-university transfer, submit an Intra-university Transfer (IUT) form and your transcripts to the business program coordinator. Contact an advisor for more information.
- Order your transcript from the Records Office. Your transcript must include your most recent semester at the university.
- If you have course work from other institutions, you need to submit a copy of your transfer credit evaluations.
Deadlines
Transfer deadlines are August 1 for the fall semester, December 1 for the spring semester, and May 1 for the summer session.
Admission Standards
The admission standards for intra-university transfer are the same as those for transferring from other institutions. You will be considered for admission based on either your overall GPA in applicable course work from the University of Colorado and all previous institutions or on your last 24 hours of work.
You will receive priority consideration for admission to the Business School if you have an overall GPA of 3.0 or a GPA of 3.0 in your last 24 hours of work.
If you have a GPA of at least 2.6 in your last 24 hours, you will be ranked and considered for admission on a space-available basis.
